The Skin House : Essential Cleansing Oil & Energy Sleeping Pack

Alhamdulillah aku dapat kesempatan untuk mencoba produk The Skin House dari Mba Gita. Dari tahun 2010 aku sudah pakai skincare Korea - The Skin Food - jadi familiar dengan typical produk Korea yang lembut.

Kali ini aku akan review 2 produk, yaitu : Essential Cleansing Oil dan Energy Sleeping Pack.

Aku sudah menggunakan kedua produk tersebut hampir 1 bulan, jadi cukup fair review yang aku tulis.

The Skin House Essential Cleansing Oil

Pumpnya mirip sekali dengan Muji Ceansing Oil lubang pump yang kecil dan ada penyangga. Sayangnya packaging seperti ini tidak travel friendly, biasanya aku tuang ke botol fliptop yang ukurannya lebih kecil. Aku suka kemasannya Amber Bottle, jadi sinar matahari tidak mudah merusak produk di dalamnya.

Tekstur Oil-nya sangat cair dan bening, tidak seperti Muji Cleansing Oil yang warnanya agak kekuningan. Saat di-apply pada wajah terasa light, biasanya aku hanya perlu 1 pump cleansing oil saja untuk seluruh wajah. Sayang sekali MAD Mineral eyelinerku tidak bisa terhapus sempurna dengan cleansing oil ini, jadi hanya aku pakai saat membersihkan natural make-up saja. Aku suka wanginya! Flowery scent. Hmmm...

Setelah bersih-bersih wajah dan bersiap untuk istirahat aku coba The Skin Food Energy Sleeping Pack. Produk ini direkomendaikan untuk jenis kulitku yang kering.

Teksturnya lebih menyerupai gel yg berwarna peach. Sebenarnya aku berharap isinya juga warna pink. hehehe.. Saat apply ke wajah tidak ada rasa apa-apa, wanginya sangat soft, tidak terasa lengket. Aku apply tipis-tipis karena takut muncul jerawat kalau terlalu rich. Sayangnya, Energy Sleeping Pack ini ternyata kurang melembabkan untuk kulitku yang kering.. huhuhu..

My Skincare Regime

Alohaa.. Today I'm gonna write about my current skincare regime. Although I rarely do full make-up but I always cleanse my face double, it's because I always apply sunblock/sunscreen. Due to let my face 'breathing' so I have to clean my face before go to sleep.

Recently I'm using skincare from SK-II (mostly)

Muji Sensitive Cleansing Oil

SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

SK-II Whitening Power Spot Specialist

SK-II Aura Essence

SK-II Cellumination Day Surge UV SPF 30 

 

After work I always cleanse my face from (light) make-up and sunscreen with Muji Sensitive Cleansing Oil. Frankly, I prefer Muji Mild Cleansing Oil. Muji Sensitive has thicker texture than Muji Mild. Both don't have any smell and give the same result : squeaky clean! ^^

SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser has nice white pearly tube packaging. This cleanser has rosy fragrance, which I like. I just need small amount, blend with water to create foamy lather.

 It cleanses and refreshes my skin very well without leaving it feeling tight and uncomfortable.

 

Well, this is my HG pre-essence : SK-II Facial Treatment Essence aka FTE. I always have back-up :LOL: I could use it for pre-essence, drop onto mask sheet and use it for weekly booster, pour in glass bottle spray to refresh my face anytime I want. As pre-essence, I like to apply FTE with Selection Round Facial Cotton. This cotton is quite solid. I always tear the cotton into 2, so I could use 1 in the morning and 1 at night ^o^ 

No, I don't use it together. When I was pregnant, I won't use any whitening skincare. So I have to change

SK-II Whitening Power Spot Specialist to SK-II Aura Essence.

SK-II Whitening Power Spot Specialist have whitening effect. I apply it on my dark spots - all over my face - and dab on my dark spots again. I don't see any improvement with my dark spots but It really works improve my complexion.

SK-II Aura Essence have brightening effect. It has milky pearl (fine shimmer) liquid but don't make your face look shimmery. I love to apply it while I'm pregnant because my face looks fresh.

 And the end of my skincare regime is sunscreen. I like glowy effect that SK-II Cellumination Day Surge UV SPF 30 give. I feel my skin tight and firm. The texture is thick, you have to warm it first (I warm it with my three fingers) then apply with swipe gesture on your face.

Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil

Setelah lama mantengin review akhirnya cek ke lapak Sakura Blossom Shop yg ready cuma Kose Deep. Yasutralah aku ambil aja daripada penasaran, lagipula konon kabarnya si Deep ini hasilnya lebih bersiiihh ;D
Berhubung seller berdomisili di Gresik sedangkan aku di Jakarta jadi agak lama deh nyampenya. Untung pas nyampe cleansing oilnya ngga tumpah, padahal udh dagdigdug takut bleberan kemana2. Packingnya sih pake kerdus, tapi dalemnya cuma ada styrofoam yg bentuk butiran2, jadi ngga padet.
Pas pulang kerja aku coba deh bersihin muka pake cleansing oil ini, pas pertama pakai cuma 1 pump bisa diratain ke seluruh wajah yg kering. Pijit2 sebentar sampai foundie, bedak, pensil alis, mascara & eyeliner kelihatan lunturr.. Horeee, ngga usah pake make up remover lagi ;D Trus telapak tangan dibasahi air, usap2 ke seluruh wajah sampai jadi putih susu. Ulangi lagi, basahi tangan dengan air lalu usap ke seluruh wajah. Nah, udah mulai bersih.. Lalu bilas dengan air.
Setelah pakai c/o aku tetep pakai facial foam lagi sih, supaya ngga ninggalin residu yg bikin jerawatan. Soalnya pertama kali aku pake Kose c/o Deep langsung beruntusan lhoo, payah deh padahal udah pake facial foam lagi setelahnya. Setelah istirahat beberapa hari ngga pake c/o beruntusan sudah hilang, aku masih penasaran dan aku pake lagi Kose c/o. Baru deh kulitku ngga kenapa2. Mungkin karena awalnya butuh penyesuaian di kulit jadi efeknya bisa macem2, ada juga yg kulitnya jadi kerriiing pas pertama kali pakai c/o.
Kose Softymo Deep wanginya ngga begitu menyengat, wangi jeruk / citrusy. Teksturnya bisa dibilang cair, lebih cair dari extra light olive oil :)
