Saat dalam pencarian hydrating toner yang cocok di kulitku eh ngga sengaja liat ada yang buka PO Japan, setelah menimbang-nimbang akhirnya order juga Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion. Kalau dalam skincare Jepang, Lotion itu bukan pelembab tapi merupkan toner yang teksturnya agak kental. Biasanya hydrating toner dipakai setelah membersihkan wajah atau setelah menggunakan exfoliating toner.

Holaa, post kali ini akan membahas Exfoliating Toner yang biasa dipakai. Awalnya memang maju mundur mau nambahin step ini tapi akhirnya beli juga pas ada yang buka PO di Instagram. Ngga tanggung-tanggung, Sis. Bungkus dua botol! heuheu.. *abis itu dompet tipis*

Lho kan udah ada Physical Exfoliant? Jadi Exfoliating Toner ini termasuk Chemical Exfoliant yang mengandung senyawa kimia atau enzim untuk mempercepat regenerasi kulit menjadi lebih segar dan terlihat lebih sehat. Kalau Physical Exfoliant bekerja di permukaan kulit, Chemical Exfoliant bisa menyerap ke bagian dalam kulit.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence a.k.a Miracle Water

I really-really interested with SK-II since long time ago but always end up complaining about the price. Way too expensive, I have to add my skincare budget.. :LOL:

Well, today I review SK-II product from the famous Miracle Water. I've been using SK-II Facial Treatment Essence since 6 months ago.

I don't really like the smell. I think it's because the fermentation of rice so smells sour. But I really love how SK-II Facial Treatment Essence instantly shrinking my pores. Feels soft when I touch my face.

How to apply :

I always pour FTE onto cotton pads. My Favorite is rounded cotton pads from Selection. Then pat-pat on my whole face to neck.

At first I only pour few drops of FTE to cotton pads, after I felt my skin more supple and brighter then I pour it generously.. Don't worry, there's so many seller in Instagram who sells cheap SK-II and I always bought from v2beautyshop

I realized that this glass-bottled FTE is heavy to bring for travelling. So I bought plastic travel bottle (around 10ml) at Muji Store, like this :

Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner Alcohol-Free

After using Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner from Kiehl's I'm kinda liking toner-regime after washing my face. Because of herbal scent from cucumber toner that I don't really like, then I found new holy grail toner : Calendula Herbal Extract Toner Alcohol-Free!

 Kiehl's website says :

An effective, alcohol-free facial toner

Gently cleanses and soothes normal to oily skin types

Contains no alcohol or harsh synthetic drying agents

May be used to soothe and improve problem areas

How to Apply:
Moisten a sterile cotton pad with facial toner, and apply to skin in areas where needed, avoiding the eye area

It says on the bottle it is made for normal to oily skin, but I have found it works exceptionally well with my dry skin and it feels smooth instantly after being applied. It keeps my face feeling hydrated yet matte all day long. After spreading this toner with cotton pad, my skin feels ready with next skin care regime. Yeaaayy. It smells like tea, I love it! 

The calendula petals tend to get stuck in the cap so I end up straining it then pouring it back into the container or sometimes I just simply shake the bottle to release the stuck petals. I heard this is good for sensitive skin, too.

Kiehl's Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner

I always skip toner in my skin care regime. But when I went to Kiehl's counter I try to find out weather Kiehl's have toner that match to my skin type. I saw Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner in unique greeny liquid color. The KCR offers me to try it first, and I like the fresh feeling after swipe it with cotton pad. I don't really like the herbs smell but I just gave it a shot since the price is cheapest of the all Kiehl's toners and it's awesome for dry skin ^^

KYOO-cuhm-bur FROOT EK-strakt
Cucumber Fruit Extract has long been known for its beneficial uses to the skin (Cleopatra used cucumber juice to maintain her skin.) It is known to cool and refresh the skin, and has been shown to be moisture-binding, moisture-regulating and softening properties. It is used as a treatment for oily skin and for tired and stressed skin, and as skin refresher in sun preparations.

Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner is an excellent medium refreshing and calming skin my skin on it's own or as a preparation for application of other great Kiehl's products such as Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution or Midnight Recovery. It is not drying at all. I apply to eye area with cotton pads finding it reduces puffiness. I love this toner which is gentle enough for eyes and sensitive skin -no burning or stinging- This also stands out on it's own as a great toner refreshing gently. I've even put in little spray bottle for a refresher on the go. What a versatile toner!
