Textured Knit Pattern - Four Petal Flower

Hello, this is my first time post to share free pattern. This pattern inspired by four petal flowers.

Then I made a baby blanket with this stitch.

Materials :

3 skeins Local Soft Cotton Acrylic (find this on Instagram @qiuknit)

4,5mm - 32" circular kniting needle

Gauge is not crucial

Abbreviation :

Wrap = with yarn on the back - insert right needle from front between 6th and 7th stitch on left needle and pick up yarn, slip loop onto left needle and knit together with 1st stitch on left needle

This pattern include 3 garter stitch border each side (right and left). You can add border stitch as desired.

Cast On multiple 16 sts + 8 sts

Set up beginning row :
Knit 6 rows (both WS and RS)

Pattern :

Row 1 (WS) : K5, *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 2 (RS) : K3, P2, *K2, P2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 3 : K5, *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 4 : K3, P2, *Wrap, K1, P2, K2, P2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 5 : K5 *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 6 : K3, P2, *K2, P2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 7 : K5, *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 8 : K3, P2, K2, *P2, Wrap, K1, P2, K2; rep from * to last 9 stitches, P2, K2, P2, K3

Repeat Row 1 through 8 until desired length.

Set up ending row :
Knit 6 rows (both WS and RS)
